Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Director

Job Summary

  • Dredge Hospitality is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly living environment for residents. This includes cleaning and sanitizing living areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas, as well as performing general housekeeping duties to ensure a comfortable and hygienic living space.
 
Key Responsibilities 
 
  • Clean and sanitize living quarters, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors.
  • Change and launder bed linens and towels.
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables in a timely manner.
  • Restock cleaning supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues.
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Report any damages, maintenance needs, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Assist with moving and arranging furniture as needed.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
 
Qualifications
 
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour shifts, 21 days on and 14 days off.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • This position requires fluent use of the verbal and written English.

 

Required Certifications and Licenses

  • Driver’s License (with clean driving record).

 

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain in seated stationary position for long periods of time.
  • Ability to walk around office to use equipment as needed.
  • Light lifting (Up to 20 lbs.) as needed.
